China Datang garnered six awards at the ESG China·the 8th Beijing Responsibility Exhibition from November 20 to 21, 2025, with one outstanding practice case included in the 2025 Blue Book on ESG in Chinese Corporate Supply Chains.

As one of the key annual events in Chinese corporate CSR and sustainable development, the exhibition featured the release of the 2025 Blue Book on CSR, the awards ceremony of the CSR Jing Niu Award, and the Summit on CSR Reporting.

At this year's exhibition, China Datang received wide recognition for its comprehensive efforts in CSR and ESG. The company was named one of the top 10 enterprises in the rural revitalization index under the CSR development index for China's top 300 enterprises, and won the CSR Brand Award.

China Datang's 2024 Sustainable Development Report earned a five-star-plus rating, which is the highest level in the country's rating system for CSR reporting.

Several subsidiaries of China Datang were also awarded multiple honors.

Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd. was recognized as an ESG Pioneer Enterprise, Guangxi Guiguan Electric Power Co., Ltd. received an award for its contributions to rural revitalization, and China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. won the award recognizing its overseas CSR initiatives for the fifth consecutive year.

In addition, the practice case of China Datang Low-Carbon and Green Development Co., Ltd. in innovating carbon footprint accounting management to empower green supply chains and low-carbon transition in the energy industry was listed among the best practices in the 2025 Blue Book on ESG  in Chinese Corporate Supply Chains.

China Datang has consistently played a leading role in contributing to rural revitalization, helping revitalize industries, talent cultivation, culture, ecology, and organizations in the areas it has paired up with under China's "pairing assistance" program. Relevant efforts have effectively consolidated the achievements of poverty alleviation and injected strong momentum into local economies.

China Datang has also made notable progress in green and low-carbon development. The practice case of China Datang Low-Carbon and Green Development Co., Ltd. not only earned a place in the 2025 BlueBook on ESG in Chinese Corporate Supply Chains, but was also showcased at the 30th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30) in Belém, Brazil.

It was presented alongside a practice case in reducing pollution and carbon emissions through collaborative innovation submitted by China Datang's subsidiary in Haikou, south China's Hainan Province, highlighting China Datang's innovative capabilities in synergistically reducing pollution and carbon emissions while ensuring energy security.
